It has to contibute to the comtois horse breed improvement by :
1- Holding the Stud-Book (Genealogic book)
2- Organizing contests, shows and expositions
3- Carrying out information and sells service
4- Training the youth to appreciate the breed and the type
It exists in Franche-Comte Lassociation de Promotion du Trait Comtois that brings together users of comtois horses.
